From small scale graphite drawings and watercolors, to large scale site-specific installations, Gustavo Bonevardi’s architectural training is evident in the way he creates his work meticulously along with a sense of improvisation. His watercolors, drawings, and stone sculptures often contain groups of tiny precise letters that explore the notions of structure vs. chaos and incomprehension. Bonevardi also collaborates with creative partner John Bennet to create large scale art installations around the U.S. and abroad. He currently works out of his New York City studio.
