Painter and printmaker, Jill Moser creates complex abstractions on carefully prepared surfaces on which barely imperceptible painterly inflections and echoes of gestural applications are set against more pronounced lines and brushstrokes. The NY based artist has had numerous solo and group exhibitions and her work is in notable private and public collections including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, The National Gallery of Art, Yale University Art Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago. Moser has also held several teaching positions and has been a visiting artist and lecturer in numerous institutions across the country.
